The plas2003 subversion server has been updated to v1.4.2. Old clients will work fine, but update your clients if you want to use the latest features. Plans are underway for migrating to an externally accessible server as well, but only the early stages.

PLASFridge CBO (Chief Beverages Officer) Richard Mason today announced the company had won a major contract offered by QUT's Faculty of Information Technology (FIT). The contract, due next Thursday, promises sales of between 30 and 50 cans of drink at the FIT Orientation day for research students. "Competition for the contract was fierce", reported Mr Mason, "But ultimately PLASFridge's ongoing commitment to providing the best variety and consistency of stock helped secure the deal."
It's unknown exactly how many participants there were in the bidding process, but internal FIT reports seem to indicate that PLASFridge Inc was the only local participant who could provide the variety of drinks required by the contract. It is also understood that one bidder lost the deal because they were "distant and expensive"
The announcement comes hot on the heels of the 10nd anniversary of the highly successful ePLASFridge project. "ePLASFridge has been a great success. It's great for customers since they no longer need to 'fiddle with change' and it's great for PLASFridge since customers no longer realise exactly how much money they're wasting spending.", said Mr Mason. PLASFridge are celebrating the event with a special instance of their popular 'PLASFridge Competition'. "Customers have the chance to win 10 cans of drink this week. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity so spend up big.", said Mr Mason in his typical sales-pitch voice.
